Welcome to Society Glo — Your Community, Connected.
Society Glo is a free, location-based mobile bulletin board designed to ensure that every community member has equal access to vital information and resources. No login or registration is required to use the app — because access to opportunity should be immediate and inclusive.
The app is organized into three main categories:

Resources — City, county, and nonprofit support services aimed at improving quality of life and promoting community health.

Jobs — Local employment opportunities, as well as training and education resources to help individuals grow their skills and advance their careers.

Civics — Learn about your elected officials and the work they’re doing on your behalf.
At a time when trust in institutions is low, we believe communication is the first step toward change. Society Glo offers a unique platform where elected officials and community leaders can share their goals, initiatives, and updates directly with the people they serve — without distractions, comments, or noise.
Only verified officials, community organizers, and business leaders are authorized to post on Society Glo. This ensures the information you receive is credible, constructive, and actionable.

About the Founder, Kevin Linney
Hello Citizens,
My name is Kevin Linney, and I am the founder of the Society GLO app. I was fortunate to grow up with parents and a community who supported me emotionally and financially. Their guidance, along with access to strong public and private schools, helped lead me to the University of Georgia, where I earned degrees in psychology and general business.
Throughout my journey, I’ve realized that not everyone has access to the same support and opportunities. Many people face inequities and challenges with little help, while others—like myself—benefit from strong networks and resources.
There are countless individuals and organizations working hard to improve our communities, but in a world full of noise and distractions, their efforts often go unnoticed. Traditional social media platforms prioritize engagement over accuracy or impact, making it difficult for meaningful work to stand out.
That’s why I created the Society GLO app—to give people, organizations, and businesses dedicated to community improvement a focused platform to share what they’re doing. We must consider all members of our society; otherwise, issues like poverty, crime, and violence will persist.
Society GLO is my way of helping bridge the gap between those in need and those who are ready to help. If you are a nonprofit organization, elected official, city leader, or business, you are invited to join and share your work. Together, let’s help our society “GLO UP.”
